Field recordings are from the Samford Ecological Research Facility in Queensland. “The site protects threatened and endangered ecosystems within a mosaic of remnant native vegetation and cleared pasture.”

Composed using field recordings edited and then processed in VCV rack, looped vocals and synthesizers.

The samples are part of the Australian Acoustic Observatory Project, collecting and interpreting acoustic data from across Australia from a variety of ecological systems.

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which these field recordings were taken, the Yugerra people, and those of the lands we live, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
