still falls drifting

The field recordings used in this track are from our trip to Sherbrooke Falls in the Dandenong Ranges in early January, 2020. We were fortunate to record these sounds just before the bushfires and COVID-19.

This is our collaborative improvisation in response to the recordings. Working together we explore a meditative space to listen and respond to the Australian soundscape and each other.

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live, play and where we traveled to make the field recordings for this track: the Wurundjeri, Bunurong and Boon Wurrung people. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
